Welcome to Bliss Road Studios — where creativity meets color, and every product is designed to spark a little joy.

We’re a small, independent design studio based in Sacramento, California, turning everyday items into vibrant, feel-good works of art. From mugs and pillows to tech accessories and sneakers, everything you see here is made-to-order, designed with love, and inspired by a life well-lived.

Bliss Road Studios was born from a moment of truth — the kind that shakes you up and makes you rethink everything. After a long and meaningful career as a plaintiff’s attorney, our founder (that’s me, Gay!) faced a cancer diagnosis that changed the course of everything. I realized that life was too short not to follow my creative dreams.

So I pivoted. I traded the courtroom for a creative studio, the stress for design software, and the black-and-white world of legal filings for a technicolor life filled with pattern, whimsy, and joy. I teamed up with my husband, Dr. Ray — a scientist, author, and all-around brilliant guy — to build something meaningful from the ground up.

Now, together, we run Bliss Road Studios, a labor of love that lets us share a bit of beauty and humor with you, one colorful product at a time.

Our designs are inspired by everything we love: color, pattern, and whimsy; nature and flowers; music and art; history and science; cozy interiors and old-world prints; retro vibes, beautiful fabrics, and thoughtful design. And of course—California sunshine and the belief that even a throw pillow can make your day a little better. We believe in slow-made, intentional design, which is why every item is made-to-order — reducing waste and letting us pour heart into every piece.
